By following these steps, you can set it to repeat multiple top rows or left columns on each page.
This is a large data set of 90 rows, if you print without any top row set up then only in first page the top row or header will appear. Other pages will not have the top header.
1. Print top row or header in the all the pages
We want to bring top row or header in the all the pages. See the following steps.
Step 1: Go to PAGE LAYOUT. In the Page Setup area of the ribbon, click on the dialog box launcher, which is represented by the small tilted arrow in the image below.
Step 2: Ensure you’re on the Sheet tab of the Page Setup dialog box.
Step 3: In the ‘Rows to Repeat at top’ section, click on the up indicator.
Step 4: Then select the row 1 of your excel sheet. Or you can directly write $1: $1 in the box to repeat the row in each page while printing.
Step 5: Choose a row or several rows to print on each page. Click OK.
Now see the print preview:
Now you have top row or row header in the all the pages.
2. Print first two rows or header in the all the pages
If you want to show multiple rows, say first two rows of below data table. Follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to PAGE LAYOUT. In the Page Setup area of the ribbon, click on the dialog box launcher, which is represented by the small tilted arrow in the image below.
Step 2: Ensure you’re on the Sheet tab of the Page Setup dialog box.
Step 3: In the ‘Rows to repeat at top’ section you should select rows $1:$2 to show top two rows in the each page.
Step 4: Click OK.
